DIY Trans Masc Tips

This is a collection of some trans masc tricks and tips I've picked up over the years which I wish I had discovered sooner!

Disclaimer - Be careful when experimenting with these things. Listen to your body.

Binding

Binding is used to make the chest have a more flat appearance. When I started binding I didn't have much money or resources and learned about the trick below. Please note that I had a fairly small chest to start with, so mileage may vary, but this worked very well for me.

  1. Find spandex shorts (like biker shorts; I used to find them at thrift stores).
  2. Cut hole through crotch. This is where you put your head through.
  3. Put arms through leg holes. Trim legs back to make more of a tank top style.

Plastic Lid Trick

This is the easiest and cleanest STP I've used (other than pstyle). I prefer this to the pstyle because it's not bulky. Easy to carry in pocket with a little tissue to use as needed to keep it and myself clean.

  1. Find a large plastic lid (paint, yogurt, coffee) and cut off the edges so it's a flat disk. (I prefer the 6.25in Pyrex lids since they are very durable)
  2. Hold similar to a pstyle to use. Practice at home first.

About this size works best (between size of hand and palm):

a person's hand holding a flat plastic disk that is between the size of the palm and entire hand

Held kinda like this to use (curled up on either edge.. like a taco? :P):

a person's hand holding a plastic disk that is being curved into a taco shape

Favorite Toy

My favorite toy so far has been the Doc Johnson Goodhead Helping Hand (sometimes called the "Bro Sleeve"). Don’t forget to also get water-based lube!

Also - vibrating massage wands can be awesome for everyone, regardless of genital configuration.
